Who we are
ZYNTL (zyntl.com) is an online marketplace operated by ZYNTL LLC, 34035 Birchwood St, Apt A, Westland, MI 48186-4534, United States. For the purposes of data-protection law, ZYNTL is the controller of the personal data described here. You can reach us at support@zyntl.com about anything in this policy.
Data we collect
- Account details — name, email address and a securely hashed password when you create an account.
- Order details — delivery and billing address, phone number, the items you buy, prices, currency and order history.
- Payment information — the payment method and status. Card details, when card payments are offered, are entered with our payment provider and never stored on ZYNTL servers.
- Support messages — what you send us through the chat assistant, the Contact page or email, and our replies.
- Preferences — your selected country and currency, wishlist, cart and newsletter subscription.
- Technical data — IP address, browser type and security logs used to protect accounts (for example, to block repeated failed sign-ins).
How we use your data
- To take, deliver and support your orders, including returns and refunds (performance of a contract).
- To show products, prices, taxes and shipping for your country.
- To send order, shipping and account emails that you need for your purchases.
- To send newsletters and offers only if you subscribe. Every marketing email has a one-click unsubscribe link (consent).
- To keep the store secure, prevent fraud and meet legal, tax and accounting obligations (legitimate interests and legal obligation).
International transfers
Because ZYNTL serves customers in many countries, your data may be processed outside your country, for example by the supplier that ships your order. When that happens we use appropriate safeguards required by applicable law, such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
Order and invoice records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires (usually 6–10 years). Account data is kept while your account is open. Support messages are kept for up to 3 years. Newsletter data is deleted or suppressed as soon as you unsubscribe, so we never email you again.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR or California privacy law), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent at any time.
To use any of these rights, email support@zyntl.com from the address on your account. We reply within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data-protection authority.
Security
We protect your data with HTTPS encryption, hashed passwords, optional two-factor authentication for staff, encrypted supplier credentials and limited access. Read more on our Security page.
Children
ZYNTL is not intended for children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
